Trevor Pickett has been a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor for over 12 years. He has trained in multiple training facilities and in different environments. Trevor has been a canfitpro Pro Trainer for 10 years. He was also named Best in Business for canfitpro in 2021-2023 while also recently being named 2023 Canadian Fitness Profession of the Year. Trevor has been featured on CBC Radio, podcasts and magazines including the Huffington Post and canfitpro Member Magazine. Trevor founded Offbeat Fitness Education to reflect his team's mission to not only provide fitness education but to try and deliver a unique learning experience. Connor started his journey in health and fitness from playing sports such as baseball, hockey and cross country running in high school. He completed a degree in Health Studies from York University in 2010 and then completed his
Personal Training Specialist course in 2015.
Connor holds numerous fitness education certifications and trains people in all different disciplines including obstacle course racing, long distance running and kettlebell sport.
Connor has been teaching for Offbeat Fitness Education since 2017 and won CanfitPro’s associate pro trainer of the year award in 2018. He teaches the personal training specialist and CPR courses.
Prior to becoming a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, Anastasia has had a genuine love for education, teaching and helping other people reach their goals and dreams. She tutored and privately taught many grade school and college students while pursuing her degrees in English and communication studies. These sessions brought her fulfillment and joy. She knew right then and there she wanted to work with other people and make a positive difference in their lives. After graduating her passion for teaching has blossomed into fitness and led to an exciting and rewarding career that inspires her every day. Anastasia has always enjoyed exercise and being active and she discovered a perfect way to combine her academic skills with fitness training. Becoming an educator for canfitpro and OffBeat Fitness has been one of the most inspiring decisions of her life. Promoting holistic approach to health and wellness, educating others to live their best and fullest lives and passing on this knowledge and passion truly is a dream job. Most often it does not feel like a job; it feels like purpose.
Gina’s interest in fitness began when she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia over 15 years ago. She saw the added benefits of building muscle and increasing her strength. This eventually led to even competing in fitness competitions. From pain management to personal empowerment, Gina wanted to share her success with others and became a certified canfitpro Personal Trainer Specialist in 2009.
Gina now has a decade of experience in Personal training and has expanded her own training interests to include, Ashtanga yoga, obstacle racing and Pole Fitness. Gina also has her Sports Nutrition Coaching certification and was a Readers Choice “Favourite Personal Trainer” in 2016 and 2019.
Gina has recently moved into an online training format and launched her own business. She currently teaches the canfitpro PTS certification under the Offbeat Fitness banner. Becoming a canfitpro Pro Trainer has given her another outlet for her unrelenting passion to help others and aid in their success in becoming part of this industry.
Education was always important to Brittany leading to her becoming a certified Ontario elementary school teacher. She dove so deep into her studies that her health took a toll. It was then that she realized her overall wellness needed to be the priority. After being trained and mentored, Brittany decided to blend her passion for education and fitness and attain her canfitpro Group Fitness Instructor certification. Shortly after that, she achieved her Personal Trainer Specialist certification along with becoming a Kettlebell Instructor. Since the pandemic, Brittany has enjoyed training her clients online, finding creative ways to make at home workouts fun and effective. Becoming a PRO Trainer and joining the Offbeat team has added to Brittany's experiences where she can combine her two loves and she is beyond excited to do this alongside such a powerhouse, passionate team.
